Chris Wiser is the CEO and Founder of MKE Cloud, a Milwaukee-based company, which provides custom Cloud Computing and Virtualization Solutions to companies throughout the Wisconsin cities of Milwaukee, Brookfield and Waukesha that want to improve productivity and profitability with outsourced technology management. It is through his 10-plus years of experience in professional IT consulting and telecommunications, that Chris and his team have been able to consistently surpass the unique business needs of today’s SMB end users. The vision of where MKE Cloud is today — and where it is going in the future — has been built by Chris and his team; being one step ahead of the market curve is Chris’s (and MKE Cloud’s) daily goal.
An entrepreneur at heart, Chris also saw the need for a full-service MSP marketing and appointment-setting tool, specific to the small to midsize market. As a result, he founded, and currently serves as CEO of MSP Leads, a provider of outsourced appointment setting and lead-generation services to U.S.-based Managed Services Providers. MSP Leads is built on the foundation of offering customized lead-generation and direct marketing campaigns, as well as a trained staff of Communications Specialists who have experience in the Managed Services and IT industry. It is through this business model, that MSP Leads can offer today’s growing MSPs a professional, organized and valuable tool with the goal of creating and maintaining new business development.
As both a public-facing entrepreneur and MSP, Chris can often be spotted sharing his expertise and best practices at various industry events – both live and online. He has been featured several times as a guest on Zenith Infotech’s MSPtv television network. Most recently Chris appeared on the network’s “VSR Channel Live” talk show offering tips on how VARs and MSPs can best market themselves.
Chris is also the author of “Small Business Owners Guide to Stress Free Network Support.” In this newly published book, Chris shares his expertise and experience on how business owners can find a professional, competent, honest, considerate, on-time, fairly-priced and dependable computer consultant. As a business owner on both the vendor and MSP sides, Chris offers his unmatched and unique expertise on issues such as: How to avoid getting ripped off, disappointed, and paying for sub-standard work; the 12 warning signs that you hired the wrong computer consultant; and everything you need to know about contract, payment schedules, and rate negotiations.
Prior to founding both MKE Cloud and MSP Leads, Chris was the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Client Support Director at NConnect Internet – an ISP based in Slinger, WI. In his personal time, Chris who is engaged to fiancé, Sarah, enjoys playing golf and auto racing; he was a professional Sprint race car driver for 13 years.
Chris also holds the titles of Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician and has completed the Microsoft Certification Course. In addition, he holds the distinction of membership in Robin Robins’ Producers Club, a private group of IT business owners whom Robin has personally coached on marketing, sales and business success. As a member of the Producers Club, Chris has personally traveled with Robin to share his success story of how her Technology Marketing Toolkit has helped him as a business owner and entrepreneur.
